High Rise Tower Blocks

We design and carry out the demolition of high rise tower blocks using state of the art detonation systems incorporating fully integrated failsafe initiation.

Detonation delay sequences are based on the requirement of the displacement of individual elements.

Operating independently to a demolition contractor we are able to provide an impartial service to those bodies and authorities requiring expert advice.

From the footprint of the tower block to the space available to accommodate the debris pile, we design the preparation and delay detonating sequence to direct the tower block to ground level.

Absolute precision, two 24 storey, 60m high, 11,500 tonne tower blocks situated on a triangular site, bounded on one side by a major highway only 6m away, the other by a critical railway line 25m away. No margin for the unplanned or unexpected.

Blowdown + 8 seconds two perfectly formed debris piles. Each block brought down by less than 100 kg of explosives, 28 detonations designed to take place over 1.5 seconds, the first block detonated 2 seconds before the other.
