Chemical Plants

Explosive demolitions on operational chemical plants are not common place, any suggestion to do so is looked up with a great deal of trepidation. There are occasions where explosive methods provide not only the best, but also the safest method possible taking account of the inherent dangers associated with demolitions.

Very large, heavy or multiple support structures are examples of where the use of explosives to bring about deliberate collapse is appropriate. Two such occasions are;
